“ Organisations everywhere are focused on workplace transformation to better enable collaboration, deliver efficiency and improve productivity. This means significant change for end user computing (EUC) technologies being deployed — from smart connected devices and desktops to thin clients and virtual infrastructures.”
Paul Hearns, Editor, TechPro magazine |
MANY ORGANISATIONS are looking to build EUC plans or strategies, but are struggling to connect their business and functional objectives with the increasingly diverse set of technology options available. Others have created their plans, but do not know where to begin with implementation.
TechFire 14, in association with Triangle, described how to overcome these challenges and get workplace transformation projects started, or back on track. Leading the user experience session on the morning, Mark Graham, ICT Director at Beaumont Hospital, described the positive affect that adopting the right EUC strategy and supporting technogies has had in the delivery of better patient care and clinical outcomes in Beaumont Hospital. The meeting also heard from experts from VMware and Triangle Computer Services, with an update on current best practice, services and products. |
